Caylie and Garrett

Caylie and Garrett traveled all the way from Texas to Tuscany to celebrate their intimate wedding surrounded by only a handful of their closest people and this is exactly the kind of small, emotional wedding I deeply love to photograph.

Their ceremony was incredibly touching, made even more special by the fact that the groom’s father was the celebrant. One of the most emotional moments of the entire day was definitely their vows: after being together for many years, they had so much to say to each other. Every word felt deeply sincere, full of shared memories, gratitude, and love built over time. There was something so genuine and heartfelt in every moment: the quiet emotions, the smiles, the tears, and the feeling of everyone truly being present with them.

Even the weather seemed to be on their side. Although it was March, Tuscany gifted them a beautiful sunny day with no rain at all, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a meaningful celebration.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered around a long table to enjoy a small catering dinner filled with traditional Tuscan food, sharing stories, laughter, and glasses of wine together. As the sun began to set over the hills, the evening turned into soft golden light, music, and dancing; simple, emotional, and unforgettable.
