Spooky season!
On a rainy Monday morning at the end of October, we headed into the misty mountains of Tuscany, with a very particular idea in mind.
Benedetta and Gabriele trusted the vision completely and became part of something a little dark, a little magical, and very real.
I carved two pumpkins myself, one for each of them, and they wore them like masks in the fog.
Rain, mud and cold didn’t stop them — they leaned into the atmosphere and gave everything to the story we were creating together.
The weather turned out to be perfect: thick fog, soft light and that quiet, unsettling feeling you only get in the mountains on grey days.
Exactly how I had imagined this Halloween shoot.
This session wasn’t about posing, but about stepping into a mood.
About letting go of comfort and entering a world that feels cinematic, raw and a little strange.
Benedetta and Gabriele didn’t just participate — they belonged to it.
A Halloween story written in rain, silence and carved light.
